VBS at CS United Methodist Church

Aug. 6-9: Cedar Springs United Methodist Church invites kids (4 years old up to 6th grade) to OPERATION OVERBOARD Vacation Bible School. In this action-packed adventure, your kids will swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. Kids will go deep into God’s Word, exploring Bible stories of people who revealed deep faith by knowing how to: Depend on God, Dare to care, Claim Jesus, Choose to follow, Change the world. The adventure begins Monday, August 6 and ends Thursday, August 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Springs UMC at 140 S. Main St. (corner of Church St. and Main St.). Attention Parents of the Class of 2013

Aug. 9: We have started our Senior All Night Party planing meetings. For first-time senior parents, this event is planned, organized, staffed and funded by the parents of the Class of 2013 and our business sponsors, so the more volunteers we have the better. The next SANP meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 6:30 pm at the Crazy Horse on 14 Mile Rd. If you are interested in finding our how you can help, please plan on attending this meeting. Could You Survive the Hunger Games?

Aug. 9: Imagine yourself a tribute, randomly selected to participate in the dystopian world that spawned the Hunger Games.
