Fall Soccer Registration
July 12: Fall Soccer Registration – AYSO Region 902 is offering one, final chance to sign up for the Fall 2012 season! Thursday, July 12 from 6-8pm at the Cedar Springs Family Fare parking lot. Complete the Pre-Registration Application online to shorten your wait in line – see details on our website: www.ayso902.org. Registration fee will be $55 for the fall season. Save $15 if you register for both fall and spring seasons now. Families registering 3 or more players receive an additional $5 discount per player. Players must be at least 4 years old by 9/4/2012. Motorcycle Rally to Visit Morley Park
July 14: On Saturday, July 14 at 6:00 pm, up to 800 motorcycles will meet at Morley Park in honor of local veterans. The American Legion #287, Glen Hill Post and honor guard will be there and a donation to the Legion is planned. Public is welcome. #28

Roast Beef Dinner
July 15: The Rockford Veterans of Foreign Wars at 4195 -13 Mile Rd. will host a roast beef dinner on the third Sunday of the month, July 15th. Adults $9 and Children $3.50. The Best Dinner in Town is prepared by our chef Fred Chambers. Take outs and deliveries are available. For deliveries call 616-866-2675 by 11:30 am the day of the dinner. #28

Dinner at the Legion
July 16: American Legion, 80 Main St. Cedar Springs, is hosting a pork chop dinner on Monday, July 16, from 5 – 7 pm. Included will be mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, veggies, rolls, dessert and drink. All dinners are $9, children 17 and under $4. Take out is available. #28

July 18: “David’s Harp” vocal ensemble will be in concert at Courtland Oakfield United Methodist, 10295 Myers Lake Ave., Rockford, at 7 pm on Wednesday, July 18th. #28

Solon Center Wesleyan Church presents Worship in the Park, Red White & Blue #2
July 18: Come join the fun again this month at Morley Park in Cedar Springs on Wednesday evening, July 18th.  A Pot Luck will begin @ 5:30pm followed by worship music from our praise band, a Sons of Thunder (strength) demonstration, an inflatable water slide for the kids, a patriotic craft & a cool treat. Grab your picnic gear and a lawn chair, bring a dish to pass and enjoy the festivities.  Everyone is welcome! #27,28b

SKY VBS 2012
July 22: Sky Vacation Bible School, held at The Springs Church, July 22-26, from 6:30-8:30pm, will be filled with incredible Bible learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! At Sky VBS, kids ages 4 yrs. – 6th grade will discover that everything is possible with God. Pre-registration encouraged. Nature Stroll
July 22: Put down the newspapers, turn off the TV/computer, and lace up your little one’s sneakers! Spend some time as a family and grow closer to nature. Bring your lunch and picnic at our pavilion with the other nature loving families. After your stroll, join one of our naturalists for talk about native birds, amphibians, and spiders.  Sunday, July 22, 12  – 2 pm. Please pre-register. No pets please.
