In it’s first official action, the Cedar Springs Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored a meet and greet Wednesday evening, July 11, with Rob VerHeulen, one of the two Republican candidates running for representative for the 74th District. VerHeulen, currently Mayor of the City of Walker, and a legal representative for Meijer, spoke with area business owners and community members about what he feels he can do in Lansing and what he stands for. VerHeulen said he has been going door-to-door in the area introducing himself to residents.
