Sometimes I hear your footsteps
Walking down the hall,
And even though you’re gone, it seems
You never left at all.
I feel your presence with me
As I go from day to day,
And though I cannot see you,
You’re never far away.
Your laughter rings out clearly
In the corners of my mind,
A sweeter sound upon this earth
I know I’ll never find.
I miss your smile,
Your touch, your voice,
The memories I’ve been given.
You were our angel here on earth,
Now God’s angel in heaven.
Your candles burn a glowing light
Of endless life and love,
I feel you smiling down on me
From somewhere up above.
And though my heart is broken,
A million tears I’ve cried,
I know your life goes on with God,
You never really died.
Your love have blessed my life in ways
Too deeply to describe,
I know you’ll be there waiting
When I reach the other side.
Desperately missing the man in all our lives. Loving you forever,
