Cedar View 55-meter dash champions

Cedar View 55-meter dash champions (L to R):

On Thursday, June 7, the annual Cedar View 55-meter dash finals were held at Red Hawk Stadium.

For the 4th grade girls, Reese Gonzales placed first, followed by Avery Rugg in second, and Markelle Peckover in third.

For the 4th grade boys, Dillon Sargent placed first, followed by Logan Jeffords in second, and Joe Metiva in third.

In the fifth grade girls race, Bailey VanDyke and Ashley Wise tied for first, Savannah Sharp placed second, and Alexxis Gonzales finished in third place.

In the fifth grade boys race, Brison Ricker placed first, followed by Thomas Reed in second place, and Ethan West finished in third place.

Congratulations to all of the 72 runners who participated in the 55-meter dash finals. Also, thank you to Trey Reed, the voice of the Red Hawks, for announcing the event.
