Stage Door Players present “My funny Valentine”

The Stage Door Players will present “My Fatal Valentine,” by Eileen Mousehy, on June 1 and 2, at the Edgar Farms on M-46 at Gravel Ridge Road.  The setting of this audience participation murder mystery is a convention of romance writers and their fans. Five authors have been nominated for the Loveknot Award for the Best Romance of the Year, including Hattie Glick (Denise Gray of White Cloud), Priscilla and Veronica Emberly (Mary Unger of Howard City), Chet Farquirk (David Schmuker of Belmont), Edith Crumpowski (Peggy Snell of Rockford) and Lady Dorothy Knolls (Tammy Reagan of Howard City). Benton Fish (Ken Busch), the editor of Heartthrob Books, is the Master of Ceremonies.

Contributing to the mayhem are Maynard Glick (Ken Koning of Newaygo),  Mitzi Mooney (Millianne Lewis of  Pierson), Martha Crumpowski (Dorothy Galicki of Howard City). Providing security for the evening is Jane Forthright (Shelly VandePanne of Howard City) the no nonsense Head of Security for Heartthrob Books.

Maude Petry (Shirley Corner, of Newaygo) has the festivities planned for 7:00 p.m. on June 1 and 2. She has a wonderful dinner and local talent planned for the evening.  Reservations are a must.
