Marilyn Pyne

Mrs. Marilyn Pyne, born 8/12/1928, age 84 (this August), went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, at 3pm 2012. For 27+ years she started working for Meijer Inc. at the Cedar Springs store then was transferred to the Plainfield Ave. store when the Cedar Springs store closed. Marilyn retired from Meijer in 1984. Marilyn was a member of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed golfing, vacationing on cruises, and going to the casinos. Marilyn loved playing her keyboard and sang with a Harmony Group called “The Honey Bells.” She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and was a collector of items with hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her Grandson David Fenton, her father Robert Lymburner and mother Bernice Lymburner, her husband Clayton Pyne, and her brother Robert Lymburner. Marilyn is survived by her children, Craig Pyne, and Karen and Dave Fenton; grandchild, Kara (Jason) Voss; great-grandchild, Charles Voss, and her beloved, Bill Furden. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Pyne will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mary Ivanov officiating.
