Good news

Are you struggling to make ends meet? Do you wish you could find more resources but aren’t sure if you qualify? Have you already been denied financial assistance from a program and think you’re out of luck? The good news is, you can stop in at Red Hawk Elementary, 204 E. Muskegon Street in Cedar Springs, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-8 p.m. to see if you are eligible for any assistance.

You can apply for: food assistance, state emergency relief (energy and non-energy assistance), cash assistance, medical assistance, and childcare. If you have already been denied, but your situation has changed, you can re-apply. No appointment is necessary, but you can set one up by calling United Way at (616) 459-2255.  Staff will be available to assist you. You can also apply online at: www.michigan.gov/mibridges

Don’t be shy; sometimes we all need a shoulder to lean on. And if you’ve applied for assistance before, but your situation has changed, you can apply again. Why not apply and see if you qualify? Tomorrow could be a lot easier for you and your family.

Red Hawk Elementary is located behind the Hilltop Administration building.
