Cedar youth wrestlers rock

Cedar Spring Youth wrestlers continue to rock the house, bringing home awards from two different tournaments held on Sunday February, 5.

Medal winners from the Grandville tournament were Samuel Couturier, with a first place, and Aiden Bouwens, with a second place.

On the other side of the state, Holt held its Rock-N-Wrestling tournament, where wrestlers were awarded a custom license plate for first and second place finishes, and a custom dog tag for third and fourth place finishes. Ryan Ringler, George Gonzales Jr. and Jordan Ringler were all champions in their weight classes.  Landon Demorest and Reese Gonzales finished second. Allexis Gonzales took third and Tacho Gonzales ended the day with a fourth place finish.

Keep watching the weekly results as youth wrestling regional championships are only four weeks away. Cedar is looking to send quite a few wrestlers to state again.
