Spencer Township man arrested for breaking and entering

The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Spencer Township man last week for a breaking and entering that occurred in Montcalm County and involved the theft of tools and a snowmobile.
Bruce Wireman, 32, was arrested Thursday, January 5, for the breaking and entering  that occurred during the night time hours of Tuesday, January 3 and Wednesday, January 4, on Baker Road, in Eureka Township. Authorities learned of a possible location for the stolen items near Maston Lake, in Kent County, and the Sheriff Detectives from both counties executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and recovered numerous stolen items.
Wireman was charged with breaking and entering and being a habitual offender.
Detectives are working with other agencies to investigate whether this suspect is involved with other crimes. Montcalm County Sheriff’s office is asking anyone with info regarding this crime or any other crimes to contact the Sheriff’s Detective Tip Line at 989-831-7393.
