Church Bazaar
Nov. 12: The Solon Center Wesleyan Church will present its annual craft bazaar, Sat. Nov. 12 from 9 am – 3 pm. Lots of vendors, delicious fresh baked goods, and a nice variety of miscellaneous items too numerous to mention. There’s definitely something for everyone. Cinnamon rolls and coffee and a lunch counter are also available. The church is located at 15671 Algoma Ave., just north of 19 Mile Rd.  #45

Silent Auction, Hot Dog & Bake Sale
Nov. 12: The youth at Solid Rock Worship Center is holding a silent auction and hot dog/ chili and bake sale on Sat. Nov. 12 from 12 pm to 3 pm to help raise money to attend a youth convention. There is something for everyone. Great time to get some Christmas shopping done and have fun helping our youth. TOPS weight loss support group
Nov. 15: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weight loss goals! Exercise 8-8:30am (optional), weigh-ins from 8:30am–9am and the meeting starts at 9:15am. Senior Luncheon at Nelson Twp/Sand Lake Library
Nov. 17: On November 17 at 11:30am there will be a catered lunch and presentation about the Howard Christensen Nature Center at the Nelson Township/Sand Lake Library. The program is by the Cedar Springs Area Parks and Recreation Department and is only $5 per person. Space is limited and reservations are needed by Tuesday, November 15 at noon. RSVPs can be made by calling 696-7320.

Charlotte’s Web at Cedar Springs High School
Nov. 17-19: Cedar Springs High School and H Productions proudly presents Charlotte’s Web, November 17, 18, and 19 at Cedar Springs High School.  Show times are at 7pm on November 17 and 18, and at 1:00 and 7:30pm on Saturday, November 19. Call 696-1200 for ticket info. #45

The Light of Heaven’s Dove at the Kent
Nov. 17-19: The Rogue River Community Theatre presents The Light of Heaven’s Dove, a drama about the life of Christ, at the Kent Theatre on Nov. 17 and 18 at 8 pm and Nov. 19 at 2 pm and 8 pm. Advance tickets are available at The Cedar Springs Post Newspaper from 10 am – 5 pm until Thursday Nov. 17. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for students.  #45

Nov. 18: A special concert to benefit the Alpha Family Center will be on Fri. Nov. 18 at 8 pm at the Kent City Baptist Church, 400 W. Muskegon St. Kent City. Pine Ridge Bible Camp Auction Fundraiser
Nov. 19: Pine Ridge Bible Camp is holding their annual Silent and Live Auction Fundraiser on Sat. Nov. 19 at the Cedar Springs High School Cafeteria, 204 E. Muskegon St. Cedar Springs. Thanksgiving Community Dinner
Nov. 24: Thanksgiving Community Dinner. The community is invited to enjoy a complimentary, hot delicious meal of turkey and all the trimmings!
