Local author sets story in hometown

On Monday, September 19, the Cedar Springs Library Book Club was excited to meet with local author T. K. Francisco to discuss her newly released novel titled “Seven Wings and the Bleeding Twin Flowers.” What makes this book even more exciting for the book club is that the young adult/adult futuristic fiction series actually takes place on an estate in Cedar Springs.
“The Cedar Springs Book Club meeting was so much fun,” said Francisco. “It was a pleasure to share a little bit of the background story of how the book came to be and the adventures this family encounters.”
Library Director Donna Clark agreed.
“It was a pleasure to meet with and get the background story about the Cedar Springs novelist,” said Clark.
The book is the first in a planned series of seven that features a Cedar Springs family and the dangerous quests they must undertake to survive into the future.
The book club purchased the books and will be discussing it in their January Book of the Month club meeting. If anyone else would like to join books are available for a discount ($13) and meetings are the 3rd Monday of every month at 7 pm.
The first chapter is available to read on her website www.tkfrancisco.com. To join the library book club, contact Donna Clark at 616-696-1910.
