The Cedar Springs Community Players’ next production, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” will be presented at the Kent Theatre on Friday and Saturday, October 14 and 15, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 16 at 3:00 p.m. This fun-filled family musical is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz, with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. It portrays “an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” It will be directed by Sue Harrison with pianist Bonnie Hitchingham and Nancy Noreen on flute. Laura Johnson is Stage Manager and Melanie Kirchhoff and Katie Zank are helping with choreography. “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be the 65th production for the Community Players in its 40 year history.
The cast of “YAGM,CB” includes Brandyn Kirchhoff as Charlie Brown, Lauren Forman as Lucy, Jacob Swinehart as Linus, Vincent Frank as Snoopy, Erica Czerski as Patty, Tom Johnson as Schroeder, Audree Stephens as Sally, BreAnna Schultz as Marci, and Madison Scheuneman as Little Red-Headed Girl.
