Family Fare donates to library programs

Family Fare in Cedar Springs recently made a donation to the Cedar Springs Public Library of $478, which will support much of the children, tween and teen programming this next year at the library. The store was also the major sponsor for the library’s summer fun carnival ($350). The money came from the Spartan Foundation, which enables local Spartan stores to support programs in their local community.

Library Director Donna Clark was excited about the donation. “It’s so generous,” she said. “This money will go a LONG way for supplies and miscellaneous costs and may even cover the entire school year! That’s value…that’s Spartan!”
