Guy and Karen Hayden, both 20-year members from the Sand Lake Lions Club, attended the Greenville Lions Club’s 75th Anniversary Event held at the Candlestone Inn in Belding on June 24, 2011.
Guest speaker was past International Director, Lion Dr. Dennis Cobler from Muskegon, Michigan. According to the Haydens, Lion Cobler pointed out that of the 25 top world relief agencies, three have annual budgets of $1 billion or more, yet Lions relief workers are nearly always among the first to arrive with help at disaster zones.
Lion Guy is 1st Vice President, and Lion Karen is Secretary of the Sand Lake Lions.
