Wire theft from power company

The Montcalm County Sheriff Department is investigating a wire theft from one of Consumer Energy’s power stations in Eureka Township.
According to police, Consumers Energy discovered the theft on April 26.
Consumers Energy warned the public there is a great deal of energy in and around their facilities, and that people entering their power stations may put themselves in a situation that could lead to severe injury or death.
In addition to being charged with any thefts, it is also a felony to trespass on any such facility.
