Sunset Moon to play at the Kent Theatre

Rogue River Community Theatre will be presenting a spoof on the old time western movies called “Sunset Moon,” at the Kent Theatre in Cedar Springs, April 14, 15, and 16.

A young man heads into Dry Creek Wyoming in 1865 and is soon elected Sheriff, with a duty to clean up the town of a few rag tag villains, gunslingers, and dance hall girls. He meets and falls in love with Sunset Moon, and has to prove himself worthy of his position as Sheriff. There are bar room brawls, gunfights and more in this laugh-filled comedy, which boasts a cast of 47 local actors.

Performances are at 8 p.m. April 14,15, and 16, with a 2 p.m. performance added on April 16. It will also play at North Rockford Middle School on April 28 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $4 for students. Call 874-5264 for information.
