Missing girl found

Kennedy Joy Nolan, 13, is missing. Please call 911 if you see her.

UPDATE: The amber alert for Kennedy Joy Nolan, 13, has been canceled. The Muskegon Heights girl was reportedly found hiding in the home, and police are questioning her.

PREVIOUSLY:

Police issued an amber alert this morning for a 13-year-old Muskegon Heights girl.

Kennedy Joy Nolan’s mother reportedly picks her up for school each morning outside her grandfather’s home on Overbrook Drive, but when she arrived this morning, the girl was missing and her school folder was on the ground.

Kennedy, a 7th-grader at Reeths-Puffer Middle School, is 13 years old, black with brown eyes and black hair, about 5′ 8″ tall, and 135 pounds.  She was wearing a silver coat, carrying a red hand bag and a blue backpack. Police believe she is in danger.
