Now features massive new playplace, dual drive thru
The newly renovated Cedar Springs McDonald’s restaurant, 4141 17 Mile Rd. NE, is inviting customers to help celebrate the grand re-opening of the 30-year-old restaurant this weekend, February 11-13.
The newly restored restaurant includes increased seating for 107 customers, a new side-by-side drive-through for fast, accurate and friendly service and a new PlayPlace with three levels of fun. The exterior of the building was also renovated and the total seating capacity has increased to 107.
The dining room was closed for a few weeks during the renovation, but the drive through remained open to customers.
The restaurant currently employs more than 70 people, and it plans to add more jobs in the near future, said Brian Mackenzie, operations manager for McDonald’s Corporation in West Michigan.
“We are proud to be part of the Cedar Springs community and we look forward to continuing to serving the area with employees from the area,” Mackenzie said.
The store also features a computer based, in-store application center to make applying for a job at the restaurant easy.
The fun begins Friday with a free extra value meal to the first 50 customers at 6 a.m. There will be a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m., and several other specials throughout the weekend. (See ad on page 20 for details.)
