Elderly couple identified in stolen credit card case

Do you know who these people are? They are wanted for using a stolen credit card in Sparta.

The Sparta Police Department sent out a bulletin last week asking for help to identify an elderly couple suspected of using a stolen credit card in at least three transactions in the Village of Sparta. According to Sparta Police Chief Andrew Milanowski, several tips came in after their photo was made public, and the police have interviewed the couple. He said the investigation would continue and that they would most likely seek a warrant for their arrest next week.

The Sparta Police Department is asking the public to help identify an elderly man and woman suspected of using a stolen credit card.

According to Sparta Police Chief Andrew Milanowski,  The card was used on January 7 on three occasions in the Village of Sparta.  The photo shows the elderly couple leaving the Sparta Family Fare store located at 565 S. State Street. They were reportedly seen leaving the store in a dark minivan-type vehicle.

One of the suspects is a white male 60-70 years of age, about 5-feet six-inches, and wearing eyeglasses. As seen in the photo, he is wearing a dark hat with fur on the front flap and ear flaps with the fur on the inside.  The jacket he is wearing is also dark blue or black in color, dark pants.

The other suspect is a white female, late 60s, about 5-feet tall, also wearing eyeglasses. In the photo, she is wearing a dark blue or black knit cap with white designs around the entire hat.  Her jacket appears to be a fluffy down type, dark blue or black in color, dark pants and white tennis type shoes.
