Angela Lee Hill

Angela Lee Hill, 84 of Cedar Springs, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at United Memorial Long Term Care, Greenville. Mrs. Hill was born March 28, 1926 in Dearborn, MI the daughter of Reuben and Grace (Carnahan) Baldwin. She was very active in the United Methodist Church of Cedar Springs and loved her church family. She enjoyed sitting in her yard and visiting with her neighbors and friends as they passed by. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Norman (Valerie) Hill of Cedar Springs, Dennis (Rhonda) Hill of Sand Lake, Bruce (Debra) Hill of Sand Lake; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, William Adams of Sun City West, AZ; sister, Doris (John) Gregor of Dearborn; brothers-in-law, Robert (Helen) Hill, Thompson (Joan) Hill, Howard Hill, George (Marilyn) Klett; sisters-in-law, Mary (Bob) Victor, Judy Hill; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Marshall George Hill in 1992; loving companion, Clayton Sherman in 2009; brothers-in-law, John Hill and Dale Hill. The family received friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com The funeral service was Monday 11:00 am at the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church. Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
