The Pilgrim Bible Academy volleyball and basketball teams traveled to Kalamazoo to play Lighthouse last week.
The girls volleyball team came away with a win when they took three out of four sets. They lost the first set 25-19, then came back and won three close games in a row. Erin Brecken, Emma Bishop, and Aubrey Slocum led the team in play. This brought their record to 6-2.
The boys basketball also came away with a win in a low scoring game, 49-31. They were led by junior Matt Metz with 19 points, and seniors Josh Cole (18 points) and Jordan Price (4 points and 18 rebounds).
Come out and support the team tonight when they play at home at Pilgrim Bible Church on Pine Street at 5:30 p.m.
