Connor placed 5th at State in cross country.

The weather couldn’t have been much better when the Division 2 cross country boys were ready to race Saturday afternoon at the state finals held at MIS Speedway. Conference and Regional Champ, Connor Mora, Cedar’s only boy qualifier, was ready to improve on his all state 15th place finish from last year. He did just that. He got out fast with the front pack of boys and ran a great race that included 249 runners. He ran his personal best time of 15:39. This placed him 5th overall, earning him all state honors for the 2nd year in a row, and ending a remarkable season by this talented runner. Congratulations to Connor on an outstanding season!
