Alice in Wonderland at CSHS

Alice in Wonderland at CSHS

Don’t be late for a very important date!

Seniors Jenna Johnson (Alice) and Steven Reed (Cheshire Cat) rehearse a scene from "Alice in Wonderland." Shows are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11, 12, 13 at 7:30 p.m. at CSHS auditorium.

Don’t be late for a wonderful and fantastical journey through Wonderland, as seen through the eyes of a young girl named Alice, when Cedar Springs High School and H Productions presents Alice In Wonderland on November 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Springs High School.

The wonderfully talented students at Cedar Springs High School have been on a great adventure trying to tell the story as energetically as they possibly can. The road to success has not always been an easy one, but they are not going to rest until the show is a resounding success!

Come see for yourself as Alice (Jenna Johnson) sets out a unique and different exploration through Wonderland. On her way she is assisted by the ever helpful and grinning Cheshire Cat (Steven Reed) who always seems to be checking up on her. While investigating her new found world, Alice comes upon an array of unique characters that don’t seem to help her. She meets the omniscient Caterpillar (Steven Kern), the crazy cook (Miles Johnson), the moral telling Duchess (Brittany Bellamy), the foreboding Humpty Dumpty (Justin Balczak), the madness of the Mad Hatter (Nick Day) and March Hare (Tyler Felty), the fun loving fighters known as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (Cole Maike and Joe Brunett), the wise and historical Gryphon and Mock Turtle (Kodi Baker and Emily Marckini), and who could forget the evil Queen of Hearts (Amber Mogg). At the end of the show Alice finds herself at a hopeless trial trying to defend herself against this wicked queen. Hopefully she can regain herself and make sense of it all before time runs out.

Be sure not to miss out on this unique and entertaining show. You will definitely want to experience it first hand as we all make sense out of nonsense with the telling of Alice and Wonderland (or the Queen will have your head)!

The curtain goes up on November 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Springs High School Auditorium. Tickets are $7.00 and are available from any cast member, the high school office, or at the door.
