R1TS thanks its business partners

The Region 1 Transition Center (R1TS) is a work-based learning program that helps students ages 18 to 26. The students split their time between work sites and classroom instruction. In the classroom they learn life skills and at their job sites they learn employment skills. The students work at many different locations including several local Cedar Springs businesses. We would like to thank all of our business partners:

Tractor Supply Company (TSC), McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Headstart Child Development, Meijer (Cedar Springs, Alpine, and Rockford), Metron of Cedar springs, Arnie’s, North Kent Service Center, Wolverine YMCA, Perkins (Alpine and Northland Drive), Northview Manor, R1TS Resale Shop, Aldersgate Child Development Center, Alpine Goodwill, and the Meijer Thrift Store.

These businesses provide opportunities for our students to gain the experience that they need to succeed in the world of work. Their assistance is a valuable part of our program and they are truly appreciated.
