Accident at 16 Mile and White Creek

A Grand Rapids woman suffered  a head injury when she ran the stop sign at 16 Mile and White Creek Avenue in Solon Township last week.

According to the Kent County Sheriff Department, the 30-year-old woman from Grand Rapids was westbound on 16 Mile Road in a Dodge Charger about 5:35 p.m. Friday, October 1, when she failed to stop at the stop sign at White Creek and collided with a Jeep that was northbound on White Creek.

The driver of the Jeep, a 17-year-old from Cedar Springs, was not injured. The woman suffered a head injury and was treated at an area hospital.
