New athletic trainer at Cedar Springs Public Schools

Northern Physical Therapy, a physical and occupational therapy rehabilitation facility, has announced the arrival Mark Garnaat as Athletic Trainer for the Cedar Springs Public Schools.

Garnaat, whose areas of expertise lie in preventing, treating, and rehabilitating injuries (acute or chronic) with high school athletes, shifts to Cedar Springs Public Schools after spending 6 years as the Athletic Trainer for Grant Public Schools, also under the umbrella of Northern Physical Therapy. In addition to his Athletic Trainer duties, Garnaat will work in the Northern Physical Therapy clinic, serving as an aide to the therapists and handling patient needs.

“My job is very rewarding, as I have the opportunity to treat a variety of athletic injuries, allowing students to return to the sport they love to play,” said Garnaat, of the new position.
