While in attendance at the Annual Agricultural Expo at MSU, Cedar Springs FFA member Brent Willett competed with 20 other members in the FFA State Tractor Driving Contest. After completing the difficult competition, the members found out how they did. Cedar Springs FFA President Brent proudly took 5th place.

Members who also attended were Advisor Mr. Larry Reyburn, Samantha Saylor, Hanna Johnson, Jerry Green, and Charlie Nelson, non-members Caleb Reyburn, Mr. And Mrs. Nelson, and Mike Nelson. Thank you to Brent Willett and his supporters; he did a fantastic job.

In addition, the FFA attended the State Leadership for Chapter Officers in July and learned how to become better leaders. Later in the summer, many viewers came and observed an FFA Kent County Booth celebrating the projects of several members. These events, along with several other activities and trips, are funded by members in sales such as the two they held this summer.
