Timothy Brown Memorial

The Post is happy to report that the dog tag taken from the Timothy Brown memorial in Veterans Park has been returned.

The monument was installed on Saturday, August 28, in memory of Timothy Brown, who was killed in Iraq. A single dog tag was hung on the monument and came up missing on Wednesday, September 8. Last week the Post ran an article asking for the return of the tag to either police or The Post, no questions asked.

According to Cedar Springs Police Chief Roger Parent, a third party turned over the tag to Sgt. Ed Good last Saturday, September 11.
