Enjoy a delicious meal and help support the Sand Lake/Nelson Township library. The Sand Lake branch of Kent District Library presents a “Soup’s On” Fundraiser at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, at the Nelson Township Hall. Try a variety of soups from local restaurants and vote for your favorite. The cost is $5.00, which includes dessert and beverages. Sponsored by the Friends of the Sand Lake/Nelson Township Library.

At 6:30 PM, participants can head across the street to Salisbury Park to enjoy a “Bluegrass in the Park” concert. Local, popular musicians including Isaac Smith and Luke Gitchel will perform a variety of bluegrass music. Donations will be accepted, and lawn chairs are recommended.
