NKSC to hold drive for backpacks, school supplies

Even though school is out for the summer, the North Kent Service Center is already working on their back to school project. Their goal is to supply about 500 backpacks, full of school supplies to client’s school age children. They said any donation of new backpacks, calculators and other necessary school supplies would be greatly appreciated.

They will collect backpacks and items from July 12-August 12. They are hoping to put smiles on many children’s faces with your help.

The following items are needed:

√    Backpacks – this is one of the greatest needs
√    Pen, Pencils, Erasers
√    Spiral Bound Notebooks
√    Highlighters, Crayons
√    Pencil Boxes, Markers
√    2 Pocket Report Folders
√    Construction Paper, Scissors
√    Notebook Paper, Rulers

If you have any questions please contact Deb McIntyre, Volunteer Coordinator at North Kent Service Center, 616-866-3478 or deb.mcintyre@nksc.net.
