The play, written by John Patrick and directed by Kristian Phillippy, tells the story of a famous TV actress, Myra Marlowe (Kathy McFarlane) who rents a house in the tiny New England hamlet of Beaver Haven to write her memoirs. However, dealing with her nosey, omnipresent neighbors, played by Linda Hunt, Tori Nader and Jennifer Lorenz, proves to be a challenge. Myra invents a mad, homicidal sister, and the plot thickens when the neighbors decide it is their duty to save sister Sadie’s soul. All the goings on will keep the audience laughing until the final curtain. Add to the fun, for Saturday’s performance only, by bringing your favorite tomato recipe with a sample for judging, which will be your admission ticket and a chance to win two tickets to a future Stage Door Player production. Showtime is June 10, 11, and 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Stage Door Theatre, White Cloud, MI. Tickets $8.00 seniors and youth, and $10.00 adults. The 10th is a $8.00 only night for all.
