Air Force Airman Sean R. Cole graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, on February 26, 2010. The ceremonies were attended by Grandpa “Bob” Dunn, of Clawson, and parents Janet and Dale Dzwonek of Solon Township.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman Cole will continue technical training in aircraft structural maintenance at Pensacola Naval Air base, Florida.

Cole is a 2005 graduate of Cedar Springs High School.
