Gaither vocal band comes to Grand Rapids

Gaither Homecoming tour – April 17

A full evening of entertainment and meaningful music is a rare treat anytime, but when the occasion includes the best-loved voices in gospel music, it’s a must-see celebration!

The Gaither Homecoming Tour 2010 brings a celebration filled with the very best in contemporary Gospel across the country, and will stop in Grand Rapids at Van Andel Arena on Saturday, April 17, at 6 p.m.

For nearly half a century, multiple Grammy and Dove award winner Bill Gaither has been a musical trailblazer. His reputation as a performer, songwriter, and mentor for newly-discovered artists is known world-wide. Despite the music industry’s current state of flux, Gaither’s beloved series of Homecoming CDs and DVDs continue to top the charts and attract an ever-increasing audience. Whether you are a brand new fan or a longtime lover of feel-good Gospel music, don’t miss this incredible concert experience.

“In times like these we must reflect on what is most important in our lives…faith, family and friends,” explains Gaither. “I invite everyone to join me and my Homecoming Friends for an uplifting musical extravaganza filled with joy, laughter, good music and good memories.”

The roster of Homecoming performers hitting the stage with Gaither includes: the Isaacs, Mark Lowry, Russ Taff, David Phelps, Lynda Randle, Michael English, Charlotte Ritchie, Buddy Greene, Gene McDonald, Gordon Mote, Kevin Williams and of course, The Gaither Vocal Band, featuring its all-star line-up of Gaither, Michael English, Mark Lowry, David Phelps and Wes Hampton. (Scheduled performers subject to change).

Ticket prices are $29.50 and $39.50 and are available at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at (616) 742-6600.
