Mrs. Corine T. Dines, age 52, of Cedar Springs, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009, from injuries received in an auto accident. Throughout the years she worked for Jose’s Restaurant in Cedar Springs, Wynalda Litho, Butternut Bread, and Steelcase, Inc. Corine loved bowling and was a member of the Friday night mixed league in Sparta. She enjoyed flowers, working in her garden, and listening to Michael Jackson’s music. Corine liked helping other people and would deliver apples to them. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rodney; children, Randy and April Dines of Sparta, Rodney, Jr. and Kathleen Webster of Belding; 7 grandchildren; aunt, Virgie Chavez of CA. She was preceded in death by her aunts, Inez Jackson and Cory Flores. The service for Corine will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas DiBell officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Needs of the Family. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

I’m just shocked at this. I’ve known Corrine for many years and Rod, through grooming thier dogs over a period of 20 years. I will never forget her smile, I can close my eyes and see it. Just last week she dropped apples off to us at the shop, and they were the best apples ever and not just saying that because. She loved her dogs Kiwi and Chakita and I can’t stand to think of them waiting for her to come home and she never will, to that home anyway. She must have been needed elsewhere. So…
