Tony Edward Eadie, age 39, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Tony grew up in Rockford and enjoyed riding dirt bikes, golfing at N. Kent Golf course, was a member of the Rocket football team, and especially liked playing football with his brother, Phil. He was a 1988 graduate of Rockford High School. At the age of 14, Tony worked at Vitales Resturant. After his graduation, he went to New York City and became a cook at Positively 104, working there for several years. He then went to Los Angeles and cooked for Bennigan’s, then to Florida and later Maryland, working also as a cook. He saw the USA by working and finally found his way back to Trini’s in Sparta. He also worked for Family Fare and was attending Grand Rapids Community College with a future in counseling. He is survived by his daughter, Adranne; mother and father, Deb and Phil Eadie of Cedar Springs; brother, Phil and Brandy Eadie of Kent City; niece and nephews, Lexi Jo, Nathan, Austin; and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The service for Tony will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Aulbach officiating. Interment in Blythefield Memory Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Salvation Army. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
