Sharon Poole of the Cedarfield Mobile Home Community thought her flower garden was done for the year. But she had a surprise in her backyard this week—miniature daffodils had sprouted through the thick cover of leaves and bloomed. “I don’t normally even have daffodils growing there,” she said. “I just kept looking at it. It was such a shock. Who would’ve thought we’d have daffodils in November?”
The flowers have been blooming since last week, and another bud was almost ready to bloom when this photo was taken Tuesday. She also has two other plants that look like they could be daffodils, although no buds were yet visible. If our mild temperatures hold out, she might have even more fall flowers!
