Mary Jane Stinson

Mary Jane Stinson, 102 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Mrs. Stinson was born January 30, 1907 in Ensley Township, MI the daughter of Charles and Bessie (Shick) Simpson. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Cedar Springs Senior Center. Surviving are her children, Joel (Doris) Stinson, Susan (Andy) Pocsi, Janet (Claire) Earlywine; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1987, daughter Anne Dickerson in 2002, son-in-law, Don Dickerson in 2004. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the United  Methodist Church, Cedar Springs with a luncheon and a time to greet the family to follow. Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. Private family interment at South Casnovia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church.
