When you are out on Red Flannel Day, you won’t want to miss the 46th Annual Red Flannel Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 3 at Red Hawk Stadium. A long-time tradition for festival-goers and Cedar Springs residents, this is currently the longest continuously-running marching band festival in the State of Michigan!
It features 20 school bands. Cedar Springs Middle School 8th grade students will open the competition at 8 a.m. with the flag-raising ceremony, and the Cedar Springs Marching Red Hawks will end the competition with an exhibition performance at 1:45 p.m.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors. It runs from 8 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. For a complete schedule of bands, please turn to page 14.
