Carole M. Fisher

Carole M. Fisher, age 44, passed away September 12, 2009 from accidental injuries.  Born in Big Rapids, she graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1982.  With her family she enjoyed yearly tent camping trips to the Upper Peninsula.  Prior to an accident in 1991 she loved to dance and roller skate, and later played Bingo, a variety of card games, and computer games.  She had a deep love for her sons who survive her, Edward Roger Fisher, Jr. and Jess Bennett.  Also surviving are her sister, Debbie and Lee Bliss of Cedar Springs, her nieces and nephews, and her long time companion, Virgil Turner.  She was preceded in death by the father of her sons, Edward Fisher, Sr.  A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11:00 at the American Legion Glen Hill Post #287 in Cedar Springs, with Pastor Keith Hemilla officiating.  Inurnment in Mecosta-Austin Cemetery.  Those desiring an expression of sympathy may consider the needs of the family.
